Jump Fear with Lil' Gracie

Lil Gracie was the dizzy, roller-coaster riding, schoolgirl who discovers the 3D Maze's path to victory. From the Parable of A Maze in Grace

So... let's get ready to jump what I like to call "Barney Fear."

The new "golden calf"of today is Barney: a person who somehow gets along with everyone, even people who spiritually don't deserve you or your efforts. Not even the Bible calls for this, as you'll see in the scriptures below. The Barney Life is a man-made idol for envy, simple as that. And only wisdom can see this invisible robbery of your emotional rights, when you're wronged by the wrong person. If a real friend or family member wrongs you, they will respect it when you process it with your emotional truth. Only a deceptive person will use tradition, name-calling, and abuse the gift of forgiveness by telling you to "get over it!" Choose your friends wisely. Do not settle for weird, deceptive, knock-offs. But what happens as you move pass obstacles like these? These checkers become "checkers!" They stay in your business.

Even bigger than their focus on you, or your focus on their focus, is the fact that you'll "loose your turn" to keep "moving forward" if you're not careful! Remember those "eavesdropping helicopters" in the Parable of The Unsuspecting Suspect? They symbolized these types of people who "hover over you with artificial light, expecting you to look up... to them." But as soon as you question their real intentions... you've got it all wrong. They "just concerned about you!" No they're just stalking you!

You've worked so hard on that "golden calf" magical smile that has made their accountability disappear. And guess what? This is precisely when fear becomes an obstacle. So let's jump Fear.. of others.

Scriptures to Jump Fear

Proverbs 23:23
Buy truth and do not sell it.

I Corinthians 5:10-11
Not at all meaning the people of this world who are immoral, or the greedy and swindlers, or idolaters. In that case you would have to leave this world. I meant that you are not to associate with anyone who claims to be a believer yet indulges in sexual sin, or is greedy, or worships idols, or is abusive, or is a drunkard, or cheats people. Don't even eat with such people.

Proverbs 27:22
Though you grind a fool in a mortar, grinding them like grain with a pestle, you will not remove their folly from them.

Proverbs 9:8
Do not rebuke mockers or they will hate you; rebuke the wise and they will love you.

Proverbs 26:6
Sending a message by the hands of a fool is like cutting off one's feet or drinking poison.

Proverbs 27: 6
The wounds of a friend are better than the kisses of an enemy.

Proverbs 29:9
If a wise man has an argument with a fool, the fool only rages and laughs, and there is no quiet.

Colossians 3:21
Fathers, do not embitter your children, or they will become discouraged.

Luke 6:45
A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.

Matthew 10:16
"I am sending you out like sheep among wolves. Therefore be as shrewd as snakes and as innocent as doves.

II Timothy 1:7
For God has not given me the spirit of fear but of power, love, and a sound mind.
